The SolarString EL-inline tester is a high-resolution inline electroluminescence testing system for fully automated testing of strings before layup. The system detects defects fully automatically via the included neural network, e.g. micro cracks, and determines the position of the string for layup control. The determined positions are passed on directly to the robot via an interface.
