At this year's Intersolar in Munich, apart from the great interest in half-cell modules, there was also a great interest in bifacial glass-glass modules. Bifacial modules can use sunlight reflected to their rear side from the floor or underground. The MBJ Backend Solution for bifacial modules offers the ideal measurement technology for this product development. The second LED flasher unit for the back of the module allows the system to measure the backside portion in the module simultaneously or separately to the front side measurement.
We were able to demonstrate to many customers directly at the fair what this system has to offer: the Backend Solution is a fully automatic measuring and testing system for bifacial glass-glass modules. It integrates an A+ A+ A+ LED solar simulator and a high resolution electroluminescent tester. In addition, it offers a central operator station with database, review software and label printer.
