Technical details
The MBJ Quickcheck system is a portable, easy to use high-resolution luminescence imaging system for the inspection solar panels in operation. It is made for on-site inspection at PV-installation sites on installed and in operation solar panels. Best results can be achieved during daylight and full operation of the installed PV system.
The Quickcheck is the ideal solution for quickly obtaining an overview of the condition of PV modules after installation, after a storm, or in the event of problems.
The relatively small, lightweight, and battery-operated system can be easily operated by one person. The inspection is ideally carried out during the day.
Unlike electroluminescence systems, no intervention in the electrical installation or shutdown ofthe system is required.
All you have to do is to insert the charged battery, mount the telescopic pole, and switch on the system. The device is placed on the module and can then be easily moved across the module using a telescopic pole.
The system is operated using the included VR headset. The advantages of the VR headset are obvious: You have both hands free and you see razor-sharp images even in the brightest sunlight.
A live image of the module being tested is displayed in the operator’s field of view.
Using the remote control on the telescopic pole, you can flexibly capture an image at any desired location.
The system’s integrated computer saves the images, which can later be easily downloaded via Wi-Fi.
