Our Intersolar highlights 2021
In the field of mobile measurement equipment, we have developed a new system, the Mini Lab, which you can easily integrate into your container, trailer or truck. This system can also be used as a lab system and offers a high resolution electroluminescence system aswell as an A+A+A+ LED sun simulator for power and IV curve measurement. Further options are a connection test and the bypass diode test.
Our MBJ Mobil EL basic is also new. The system is a cost-effective entry into electroluminescence, while the whole system is easily transportable and fits into one aluminum box. With the high-resolution electroluminescence system, hidden defects - such as micro-cracks or inactive areas in the cells - can be found directly and reliably on site. Removal of the modules is not necessary.
Our solar simulators and electroluminescence testers for solar module production are now all adapted to the new module sizes. The different module sizes result from the use of different cell sizes, M0 to M12. A module size of 1400mm x 2750mm is no problem for our systems.
The defect detection of our EL testers is based on artificial intelligence. This means a significant improvement of the proven inspection performance. With a neural network pre-trained by MBJ, typical defects such as micro-cracks, dark areas and soldering defects can be reliably detected and classified. Another advantage is that the neural network is very robust to variations in the cell material, resulting in a significantly reduced pseudo defect rate.
