SolarModules EL-basic | EL-lab
Electroluminescence testing systems for the inspection of solar modules before or after lamination.
The SolarModule EL-lab is an offline electroluminescence testing system. The unique mechanical concept allows modules of different sizes and specifications, before and after lamination, framed and not framed, to be tested quickly and efficiently on one system.
Special features:
- One testing system for the lab and fabrication
- Easy to operate
- Fast inspections
- High resolution
- Low investment cost
After connecting the power supply and closing the protective cover, three cooled NIR-CCD cameras take high-resolution EL images of every cell in a module, so that even the smallest micro-cracks become visible. The only difference between the SolarModule EL-lab and the SolarModule EL-basic is the speed of testing. The lab version requires 90 seconds to image a 60 cell module, while the basic system needs approximately 35 seconds.
A user-friendly software interface displays the images taken by the cameras in grid form. The user can navigate through the grid interactively and look at enlarged views of individual images. The module is judged manually by the operator. The software stores all results, images, and parameters for a module under a unique ID on the hard drive.
With the compact design, convincing operational concept and attractive price of the EL-lab and EL-basic solar modules, MBJ Solutions sets new standards in offline solar module inspection using electroluminescence.
