The compact SolarCell EL-lab contains all necessary electrical and mechanical components. All that is required to put the device into operation is to connect a monitor and keyboard.

The device is easy to operate: After closing a drawer in which the solar cell is placed, the solar cell is contacted automatically, voltage and current are applied, and a high-resolution EL image is acquired using a CCD camera and stored.

The Windows user software allows for easy operation of the device. The exposure time, current, and voltage values and the operating mode of the camera can be specified for image acquisition.
